Our Vision, Mission & History
All Saints’ Episcopal Church appreciates your interest in our ministry and extends to you a warm welcome! All Saints’ is a diverse and inclusive church, representing the young and the not so young, students, retirees and workers in and out of the home, and singles and families of all descriptions. Some of the members have worshiped in the Episcopal Church all of their lives, while others have come following God’s call to journey to a new place.
Regardless of the point where you are in your faith journey, All Saints’ celebrates God’s presence here in this place and in the world, reflecting on the wholeness of His creation in our language, worship, prayers, and music.
All Saints, a member of the Diocese of East Carolina, is part of the Episcopal Church of the United States, a denomination comprised of over 2.3 million members. The liturgy for our worship service is taken from the Book of Common Prayer (1979) and supplemented with music from The Hymnal 1982.
The congregation and rector would be delighted to be given the opportunity to meet your spiritual needs whether as an occasional visitor or permanent member.
Please consider joining our warm and loving parish. We believe All Saints’ offers an exciting worship community and we hope you will make our church your permanent church home. All Saints’ Episcopal Church welcomes all!
Vision Statement (What God calls us to be)
God calls us to be a loving, open-hearted, open-minded Episcopal Church growing together spiritually through music, liturgy, and prayerful worship in celebration of God’s presence here among us on the Outer Banks.
Mission Statement (What God calls us to do)
We will strive as individuals and as a congregation to live fully as Christians in thought, word, and deed. We will strive as a congregation to serve as faithful stewards of God’s bounty, sharing it equally between our congregational family and to the larger world through outreach.
